Eonyx EV Battery
Our Eonyx advanced EV Battery
represents a revolution in light electric vehicle power. We designed Eonyx
from scratch specifically for fast, powerful light electric vehicles such as
those powered by
Phoenix. With a constant output capability of 2 Kilowatts (peak 2.9
Kilowatts) at 48 volts, Eonyx enables more people to enjoy electric
commuting by more than doubling the range of lead acid batteries while cutting
weight almost in half.
Almost two years in the making, we did not
compromise our objectives. It had to be high capacity, it had to be lightweight,
and it had to be safe. Cost was important, yes, but we believe safety,
reliability, and performance are more important.
Eonyx is probably one of the more expensive batteries on the market. There's
a reason.
Eonyx can be used on any 36 or 48 volt
electric vehicle that requires up to 40 amps continuous power. Eonyx
battery packs are the same chemistry used by A123 and DeWalt.
The Eonyx charger is included with the
battery pack.

Making good Lithium battery packs takes a lot of time.
Custom ABS cases are in the works, but in the meantime, we adapt these
rugged SLA cases to the job. |

 |
 |
| Left: At ElectricRider's Eonyx assembly line, cases are
modified and electronics installed. Right: Cells are tested and matched. |
Electronics are installed into the case lid. Connectors mate
the electronics to the pack. |
Cells that have been matched get their final test to assure
they get along well with others in the pack. |
